Zoogdieren zijn vaak nog moeilijker te fotograferen dan vogels. Schuw als ze zijn en veel kleiner in aantal en in soortenvariatie, valt het niet mee ze voor de lens te krijgen in een mooie rustige setting. Soms zijn het hele vroege of hele late verschijningen op de dag. Dus soms wordt in parken of dierentuinen gefotografeerd. Maar het doel blijft natuurlijk in het echte wild. Mammals are even more difficult to catch with the camera. Very shy as they are and outnumbered compared to birds. It makes it very difficult to freeze them in a natural and tranquil habitat. Sometimes they are very early risers or they become active in late daylight. For my comfort I sometimes make my pictures in zoo’s or nature parks. But the goal is to ‘catch’ them in the wild.
